Recovery from the forest in case of an emergency:
It is very rare that there are any issues of breakdown with the Tramper. If something unforeseen does happen Forestry England are currently unable to recover members of the public. Should this happen, you need to have a person with you who is able to drive their own vehicle into the forest (escorted by a staff member of Forestry England) to recover you. If this is not possible or the incident requires it, the emergency services will be called (ambulance or mountain rescue) to recover you from the forest.
