Julia Walker

Charity Development Manager

Our friendly team is led by Julia, who, inspired by her own and family members’ experiences, has spent the last six years campaigning and fundraising to improve accessibility in Cumbria.  Julia focusses on delivering training, securing new sites, raising awareness of accessibility issues, securing funding and sharing her passion for access for all.

Charity Operations Officer

The Charity’s day-to-day work is supported by Trella, who handles memberships, administration, and anything that needs a calm and careful hand.  Trella has a background in the sustainable development sector and enjoys a job where she can do a bit of everything, which is just as well!

Policy and Funding Officer

Penny is a charity fundraiser who works to secure funding to support Lake District Mobility's growth, as well as ensuring our policies are kept up to date. Penny loves the Lakes and, as the mother of a disabled adult, is keen to help create new opportunities for people to enjoy the outdoors.

Educational consultant and retired Assistant Head, with 25 years in the education sector.
