One Tramper is available to hire from the Langdale Leisure Centre for a riverside trip, passing the shores of Elterwater and turning back at Chesters Café near Skelwith Bride for a return journey back to the Leisure Centre.
The daily hire slots are at 9am and 1pm.
The sessions last for 3 hours.
The return trip is approximately 6.5km/4 miles on a mostly level path with only slight hills.
Members must be accompanied on the route by another person during the tramper hire session, due to limited or no mobile signal.
All Tramper users must stay on the designated Tramper route path.

Please note:
No pet dogs are allowed on the Langdale Estate, only guide (assistant) dogs are permitted.
We appreciate that dog owners may want to bring their dog along for the Tramper trip. The Tramper route passes through the Elterwater village, which is minutes from the Langdale Leisure Centre. Visitors can park their vehicle within Elterwater village and collect their dog as they pass through the village.
Accessing Chesters Café: Please be aware that there is no wheelchair transference from Tramper to the café. Toilets are not accessible on Tramper.
