Snever Dale / Housedale Rigg 4.2km/2.6 miles

Gradient: 2 routes

Ellerburn Red Trail - Mostly flat, some short and gentle uphill sections

Snever Dale / Housedale Rigg - Some stretches of moderate to steep uphill

Dalby forest in North York Moors National Park provides a broad range of activities for all ages. These include various forest tracks for walkers, bikers and Segways, bike hike and Go Ape activities. The landscape is diverse and offers opportunities to explore plantation forests and native woodlands, hillside walks and ambles along rivers and meadows.

 

The site is operated by Forestry England and offers a good range of facilities for visitors, including ample parking, café, shop, toilets and information for visitors.

Members must be accompanied on the route by another person during the Tramper hire session, due to limited or no mobile signal. 

All Tramper users must stay on the designated Tramper route paths.
